# About Kix

Kix is a chief of staff for small and mid-sized business owners. It works over iMessage, the place owners already look all day. Kix knows a business by its data: sales, inventory, books, schedules, inbox and ads. It notices what matters, prepares the work, and asks the owner for one yes before anything is final.

## Who builds Kix

Kix is built and run by Kixik Technologies, the data team for small and mid-sized businesses, based in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Billion-dollar companies have had data teams and chiefs of staff for decades. Kixik exists to give every other business the same advantage, at a fraction of the cost.

Kix is smart because people stand behind it. For every business, the Kixik team connects the systems, maps how the business actually works, and checks the data that Kix uses. Kix does the daily work; the team makes sure it is right.

- Reorders best sellers before shelves run empty
- Follows up on quiet estimates, leads and customers
- Catches supplier price increases, double charges and unbilled work
- Plays detective when sales move for no obvious reason
- Reschedules crews and appointments around weather and cancellations
- Shows owners when it is time to hire, with the math
- Watches the business while the owner is away

## How Kix stays safe

Kix prepares the work all the way up to the final step, then asks the owner to approve it. Approvals are tied to the exact order, message or change. Nothing is sent, ordered or changed without the owner's yes, unless the owner has handed that kind of task over with clear limits. The owner can pause Kix at any time.
